This isn't a self expressional piece, but it is an idea I came up with..

The dark shadows in this particular piece are intentional, as is the 'blue' tone, I wanted to create a 'darkened' ambience to the overall look of the image and I think I did quite well

All of that space about her head really creates depth. The tone works so well. In a way, it looks like a mirror. Keep up the good work.

The best part about this piece is the way that little spark of light at the edge of the window. It plays off the black electrical outlet very well. Almost analagous to the angel/devil on your shoulder...
