good job on the picture. what shutter speed and aperture? oh well, very good job, i like the contrast, and ... possibly a filter that you used. terribly good. Bang up job. yeah... um.. just one thing... did you mean to cut off the head like that? anyway, keep up the good work, cya.

All worlds collapse.
All lands shrivel
All beings cease to exist.

Strangely appealing, though I can't quite place my finger on it. I think I'll put this in my favorites.

you would have done well to submit this in the 'expressive' category;
despite the fact that you can't see the girl's eyes (which would normally clue one in as far as the 'tone' of the piece), her posture really conveys that sentiment...

on the one hand, she seems very acquiescent to her situation..she's been waiting a while, and she's accepted that who/whatever she's waiting for isn't coming any time soon...

--or--

she's anxious; she just sat down, she's waiting for something/one to arrive, and has to sit on her hands to keep still...

lovely image!

I'm really liking the texture of the whole thing. The background is really nice and rough and whatever filters you used kind of makes her blend in a little. Great pose, great location, interesting concept. Well done. I wish you would expand a little further on what sort of medium it is. The whole one-word-undescriptive-description and placing it in indyart-misc is kind of annoying because we don't know what to comment on. This may be a photo you took with a camera AND manipulated, in which case you get comments as a photographer and as the manipulator. But if you, for instance, just took the original picture and added the textures and tones and stuff, you get a different response. It's really helpful for those of us that want to comment if you would tell us what you did and/or didn't do. Thanks. :) (Smile)

_//__°° i guess she knows what she is waiting for.. very nice work. maybe i don't like the texture on the person, for me should be only on the background where like it very much. good work with that. very emotional, you can feel tension and melancholy of waiting _//__++
